Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
Elevare Learning
Effective Date: September 2025
Version: 1.0
1. Purpose
Elevare Learning is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. Although the risk within this sector is low, I recognise my responsibility under the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in my business or supply chains. This policy outlines the actions I will take to identify, prevent, and mitigate modern slavery risks within my operations and those of any partners.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
• All team, associates, contractors, and freelancers working with or on behalf of Elevare Learning and service providers engaged in delivering products or services to us.
• All activities within the UK and any international engagements.
3. My Business
Elevare Learning is a Learning & Development and Well-Being Consultancy that provides training, coaching, Mental Health First Aid training and supervision, and organisational development services to public, private, and third-sector clients. I operate primarily within professional environments and do not engage in manufacturing, logistics, or high-risk sectors. However, I am committed to maintaining transparency and integrity in all my business dealings.
4. My Commitment
I will:
• Conduct business ethically and with integrity.
• Ensure there is no modern slavery, human trafficking, forced or compulsory labour, or child labour within my operations or supply chain.
• Require all those that I do business with to uphold the same high standards.
• Take appropriate steps if I identify any instance of modern slavery.
5. Risk Assessment and Due Diligence
While the overall risk of modern slavery in my business is low, I will:
• Assess and monitor potential risks in any supply chain.
• Conduct due diligence on any new suppliers to ensure compliance with modern slavery legislation.
• Include contractual clauses requiring any suppliers to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
6. Reporting Concerns
I always encourage anyone to report any suspected modern slavery concerns to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 0800 121 700, or to call the police on 999 (if urgent) or 101 (if non-urgent).
7. Monitoring and Review
• This policy will be reviewed and updated as required.
• I will monitor the effectiveness of my actions and adapt my approach to ensure continuous improvement as and where required.
